Constitution Day was celebrated at M K Ponda College of Business and Management, Bhopal, on 26th November, 2021 as part of NSS programme wherein the students and staff participated. Dr. Satish Manwani, NSS Programme Officer briefed about the significance of the day, he explained that India is governed in terms of the constitution of India, which was adopted by the constituent Assembly on 26th November, 1949 and came into force on 26th January, 1950. The Preamble of Indian Constitution records the aims and aspirations of the people of India and reflects the basic spirit of the Constitution. To spread the importance of the Indian Constitution, India observes November 26 as the Constitution Day of India. The day has also been declared as the Constitution Day to spread awareness about its architect Dr B.R. Ambedkar. Afterwards, all the NSS volunteers and staff and others took the pledge on the preamble of the Indian Constitution. |
